The genesis of what
you see here was a 2003 retrospective of my work at
the Addison/Ripley
Gallery in Washington, DC. Christopher Addison wisely
suggested interweaving images and text to create a narrative.
Robin Groom, my former colleague at The Washington Post
and the person who still makes the Style section run
on time, was invaluable in pulling all the material
together.
Kelly
Niland, designer extraordinaire, created the identity
for the site. The beta HTML was coded by Mike
Evans. Helen
Kalisher, a wonderful web designer, handled the
final implementation as well as the digital conversion
of the images. Black & white prints for the conversions
were made by Gamma;
color prints by Light
Waves.
